Congratulation to ECJH Bass Club members Brennon Opie and Jake Huff. They placed 26th out of 306 teams at the first Southeast Texas Fishing Association Tournament held on Lake Sam Rayburn. They weighed in a 5 fish stringer at 11.07lbs.

First year FFA members attended Area IX Greenhand Camp in Nacogdoches. They had the opportunity to learn about different FFA experiences on how to get involved and to expand their growth in FFA and agriculture.

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer all week long! Join us each day as we celebrate the season with fun, festive dress-up themes. Let’s make the halls merry and bright!

A beautiful night of music and memories! Proud of our band for an incredible performance. 🎶❤️

Our front entry is decked out for the holidays! We had a house tree decorating contest this year. Each house created ornaments and decorations using only materials you can find at school. The competition was tough as all the trees look amazing!! Our winner for the contest is House Harmony!

The weather was just right for chicken and dumplings today! We appreciate ABCO Roofing and Construction and C&B Industrial Services Inc. for providing a delicious lunch for our staff!

Mr. Bertrand's Principles of Agriculture class had a fun, hands-on lesson today on swine ear notching! Look at our Bucs working together to get the job done!

Congratulations to our November Students of the Month!

Get ready to celebrate the season — starting Monday, December 8, we’re kicking off a week of festive fun with daily dress-up themes! We hope you’ll join in and spread some holiday cheer!🎁✨

Mrs. Franzen is teaching all of our students about the Dewey decimal system and how to utilize our online library catalog. We are lucky to have an amazing librarian who strives to help our students develop their love of reading.

Several members of the ECJH Leo Club, sponsored by René Hearn, delivered bins of donated canned goods and boxed foods from our students. All donated items were dropped off to Winnie's own, Market to Hope. Students have been filling up bins with canned goods for 2 weeks! We are always proud of our students, but today was even more special.

NJHS had the best time volunteering at the Houston food bank. They packaged over 4 tons of macaroni and helped create meals for 6000 families!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing parents for spoiling us with a gumbo lunch this week! Our staff feels so appreciated and we are always grateful for parents that show up for teachers the way you do. Thanks for taking care of us!

First JH Boys Basketball games at home! 💛🏀💚

ECJH celebrated World Kindness Day this week by making friendship bracelets & keychains in the library, filling out kindness shouts outs, and decorating the hallway! 💚💛💖
