East Chambers High School's production of "The Sparrow" advances to bi-district competition to be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 3:30 P.M. at Woodville High School. Individual awards at district included: Best technician - Ayden Tapley; Honorable Mention All Star Cast - Trinity Smith; All Star Cast - Zoe Holdren; All Star Cast - Alan Garcia; Best Performer - Blessen Hatch.

Due to ongoing issues in the aftermath of the ice storm, ECISD schools will remain closed through Friday, February 19, 2021. Classes will resume at their regular times Monday, February 22, 2021.
EC schools will be closed on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
For today, students who can complete their assignments should do so when they can. Assignments will be accepted without penalty and will not be due until we return to school. School is canceled for Wednesday, February 17, 2021. No further classwork for students will be assigned until we return to face to face instruction, hopefully Thursday.
