Due to ongoing issues in the aftermath of the ice storm, ECISD schools will remain closed through Friday, February 19, 2021. Classes will resume at their regular times Monday, February 22, 2021.
EC schools will be closed on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
For today, students who can complete their assignments should do so when they can. Assignments will be accepted without penalty and will not be due until we return to school. School is canceled for Wednesday, February 17, 2021. No further classwork for students will be assigned until we return to face to face instruction, hopefully Thursday.

East Chambers ISD schools will transition to virtual at home learning for Tuesday, February 16, 2021 due to predicted inclement weather. Students will have assignments that parents/teachers will need to verify are completed on that day. Face to Face instruction will resume on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Additionally, please monitor ECISD messaging for any changes to this timeline based on weather conditions as they may develop.

The Buccadear Drill Team Clinic will be held in the High School Auditorium on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 from 8:30-3:00 PM. Ages: 4 years-8th grade
Wear comfortable shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes. The registration fee is $35.00. To be guaranteed a shirt, please turn in order forms by January 8th. Participant must bring your own lunch and refillable water bottle.

ECISD Board of Trustees held their regular December meeting on Monday, December 14, 2020. Elected board members were sworn into office. We welcome back two incumbents, Taylor Wilcox & Charlotte Edwards & look forward to working with new board members, Frank Abalos and Kelley Touchet.
