Two Options for Student Athlete Physicals

Student athletes at ECISD will have two options provided for securing their physicals. Thompson Outpatient Clinic will be conducting physicals in the clinic on a walk-in basis during the months of June and July. The physicals will cost $15 this year and will be done on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1:00 until 4:00.

Please note the following schedule:  June 3 thru 13:  11th and 12th grade boys and girls; June 17 thru 27: 9th and 10th grade boys and girls; and July 8 thru July 18: 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. Students must bring their physical form completed and signed by the parents with a parent accompanying them. Physicals done after the July 18 date will require an office visit costing $68.

For all those who do not make it into the Thompson Clinic, you will have a second option to get a physical on July 31, 2008. Jace and Deidra Duke, our trainers, in conjunction with the Roger Clements Institute will conduct physicals in the fieldhouse from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a $12 charge.

Please note the following UIL rule:  All incoming 7th graders, incoming 9th graders, and incoming 11th graders must have an up-to-date physical on file before they are allowed to practice.

For additional information, contact Coach Valastro by email or phone at 296.8170.
